Courtyard of the Beguine

What can I tell you about the beguines?  They are female leaders in European communities who believed church should be accessible to anyone, anywhere, at anytime. They founded intricate communities and cities with schools, hospitals, and business networks. With a passion to serve God by serving their communities, they created an intricate, beautiful, and elegant legacy that spanned hundreds of years.
