This is a Stack & Whack quilt consisting of a series of blocks, their pattern determined by a repetition of four identical squares rotated 45 degrees to create a unique swirl effect within each individual block. To me, each block in this quilt resembles a unique plant or bird from the Midwestern prairies.
A quilt is a hybrid. It is more than a blanket, not an applique, but rather a work of puzzling art, crafted by hand with the elegance of geometric mystery and science of precision.
This quilt fits a twin or full size bed. All of my work is hand-sewn and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
