A Dance of Complexity & Simplicity

When I was designing this quilt, my inner wisdom was whispering geometries of crystals and frozen pinwheels. The land beyond the forest meets the Ice Age.
 
The quilt top is made of only two fabrics. The red batik with blue and purple spirals is paired with a dark cerilian blue cotton. The backing is the same red batik.
 
A quilt is a hybrid. It is more than a blanket, not an applique, but rather a work of puzzling art, crafted by hand with the elegance of geometric mystery and science of precision.
 
This quilt can fit a queen or king size bed. All of my work is hand-sewn and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
