The Myth of Control

When we look at control without considering agency (personal action taken) it is falsely understood as power over someone or a situation.

I invite you to consider that control over others is a myth because we confuse having to do with choosing to do. When someone says, "I don't want to do it, but I have to do it," is a prime example of disowning agency: an excuse to detach from responsibility. I propose that no one can control you without your permission. In my work, you will learn the difference between disowned action and agency.
